Where can I find the rules and regulations for Boltwood?
When is Rent Due?

Rent installments are due the 1st of every month.

Will you send me a bill every month?

It’s all online 24/7. Rent is due on the 1st of every month for each resident.

How can I make my rent payment?

Boltwood offers four very simple and convenient ways to pay your rent. You can either pay in the managers office by check, money order, cashier’s check, or alternatively you can pay online through our website. For safety reasons, we DO NOT accept cash. Our online payment website allows residents to review their payment history as well as upcoming charges at any time.

Do I need a guarantor?

Yes. All residents require a guarantor to complete the guaranty agreement. If the resident is not of legal age to execute a contract, the guarantor will be required to sign both the lease and the guaranty agreement

Do I have to pay a security deposit?

In lieu of a full months rent security deposit and multiple fees like other apartment complexes, we have one non-refundable administration fee of $350.

Can I use financial aid to pay for housing?

Absolutely! We will even remove the late fees for late financial aid payments. Ask our team on-site how to get signed up for this!

Can I request an apartment or a roommate?

We rent apartments on a first come first serve basis, meaning the sooner you sign a lease, the more options you have! In regards to roommates, you can fill your own apartment with whomever you’d like, but if you are having a hard time finding roommates, we’ll be happy to try and assist you!

What types of leases are available?

We require each student to sign their own lease. Why? So, if your roommate doesn’t pay rent it won’t affect you! We offer 3 lease lengths: 9 months, 10 months and 12 months. Ask our on-site team for pricing for each lease length.

Can I have pets in the apartment?

Boltwood is proud to be Allendale’s premier “Pet Friendly” community for GVSU Students. Check out our online rental application for more information about what breeds are not allowed. There is a $300 non refundable admin fee + $35 per month pet rent.

How close is campus? How does the bus route work?

The North Campus Express bus (Route 37 of The Rapid) stops right out the front of Boltwood and will take you right to class (http://www.ridetherapid.org/ride/routes/37). This comes in handy, especially on those cold winter mornings.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not permitted inside any of the apartment buildings. Strict fines are enforced for all violators.

What if I have a maintenance problem with my apartment?

In the unlikely event of an emergency repair after hours, there is a 24-hour emergency line for our residents to call. For non-emergency repairs, our residents can fill out a service request available through your online Resident Portal. We want our residents to have a pleasant and carefree experience living at Boltwood. 

Where can I do my laundry?

Each building has a laundry room on the first floor. Boltwood has recently upgraded its laundry facilities including energy star-rated front-loading washing machines and energy efficient dryers. We want our residents to have clean clothes and a clean environment too!

What is the policy in getting back one’s security deposit?

Since we don’t collect a security deposit, there is no need to worry about this! Just leave the apartment clean, undamaged and empty and you won’t hear a peep from us!

Who is Access Property Management Group?

Access Property Management Group www.accesspmgroup.com is the property management company responsible for managing Boltwood Apartments. Access Property Management Group provides a fully staffed on-site management office to oversee the day to day operations of the property and to answer any of your questions!
